Biogas – Hermes Expands ?Green Fleet? as Part of Ongoing Sustainability Drive

A total of 42 Iveco Stralis CNG tractor units will be added to the operation over the coming weeks, taking the total to 72 across the firm’s fleet. Once introduced, the new vehicles will account for more than 40 percent of Hermes’ first mile delivery fleet. These have been ordered from CNG Fuels, the only UK supplier of Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) approved biomethane. Each vehicle will reduce CO2 emissions by over 80 percent when compared to a diesel Euro 6 vehicle.

Moët-Hennessy to promote sustainability at Vinexpo Paris

Moët-Hennessy is to take a “huge” stand at the inaugural Vinexpo Paris in February to speak about sustainable development at the luxury drinks group for the first time. Speaking to the drinks business last month, CEO at Vinexpo, Rodolphe Lameyse, expressed his delight that the owner of great brands from Champagne Dom Pérignon to Cloudy Bay wine would be present at the Paris fair, and in such an impressive way.
