New research by industry coalition Sustainable Aviation confirms that the UK could be home to up to 14 sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production facilities in areas across the country – making it a world leader in clean aviation technology. The research by energy consultancy E4tech and commissioned by Sustainable Aviation revealed that these facilities could be based in seven clusters – Teesside, Humberside, the north-west of England, south Wales, Southampton, St Fergus and Grangemouth.

The empty campus the exodus created gave the university’s maintenance team a chance to take on a tough project more easily – a lighting retrofit inside one of the university’s most vital buildings.

Having just secured $8.5 million in funding from Mexico’s Dalus Capital, with participation from Angel Ventures, FEMSA Ventures, Volta Ventures, Impact Assets, University Venture Fund, Century Oak Capital and Closed Loop Partners’ Ventures Group, Algramo says it will launch pilot stations around the world.
