Many of the major leaps in the English planning system have happened as a result of crisis. COVID-19 has had a wide range of primary and secondary impacts and has reconfigured how London operates. Planners have a vital role in supporting the opportunity to support sustainable, resilient and inclusive recovery from COVID-19. This session will explore what sustainable recovery looks like for London and how can planners and the wider built environment profession support its delivery. How will London look in 2030 if we get sustainable recovery right? What are the risks if we do not achieve it?
