Competition amongst IT services players to be the most ambitious in their environmental sustainability goals can only be a good thing. It looks like it is driving companies to do more and more quickly. Last month we looked at Sopra Steria’s target to achieve net zero emissions by 2028 and highlighted its sustainability achievements and goals (see Sopra Steria: Targeting net zero ahead of the curve). Today, we see announcements from Atos and Accenture that show the IT services suppliers are upping their games.
