WTO Committee on Trade and Environment Continues Efforts on Plastics Pollution, Circular Economy

The funding has been provided through the bank’s Clean Growth Finance Initiative (CGFI) which provides discounted lending to help firms invest in sustainable projects.
It will be used to introduce sustainable measures throughout each of the 24 two-bedroom flats, including solar panels on the roof, weather compensators on the boilers, electric charging points in the car park, and increased levels of insulation to efficiently retain heat.

With a fleet of more than 3,000 lift trucks, a large retailer with hundreds of locations throughout the United States had difficulty monitoring and managing its equipment maintenance activity and downtime.  The retailer used a guaranteed maintenance plan through a secondary provider and had little insight into key metrics like repair history, intervals between failures, preventative maintenance (PM) completions and first-time fixes.  Without the ability to monitor these metrics, the retailer lacked clarity regarding the impact of maintenance on its bottom line, along with the value of the secondary provider’s guaranteed maintenance plan, which it was charged for monthly.

Bonnie’s father is an engineer for the Apollo 11 space mission. Bonnie is an engineer too, developing a model rocket that she plans to shoot high into the sky.
