The Circular Buildings Toolkit will help designers and planners create a better future in the built environment sector. Arup and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation launched the toolkit in a bid to bring a circular economy for buildings into the mainstream, and future-proof assets in the face of a rapidly changing policy landscape. In today’s Ep 1 video I’m venturing into the Planet Zoo Australia Pack, working on a sustainable eco zoo design! Today I’m showcasing a modern louvered pavilion I’ve developed, set up with some guest facilities as a food court. The design is sympathetic to the surrounding landscape, with natural colours and reclaimed materials making this a very ecologically-sensitive build.
